Freight Lift Systems

Turnkey freight lift systems with cabin, guide rails, supporting structure, motor and controls for carrying loads between floors in factories, warehouses and shops.

About this category

Freight lift systems carry loads between floors in a cabin in factories, warehouses, workshops and shops. We install the system turnkey with the cabin, guide rails, steel supporting structure, our own freight lift motor and controls.

Freight lifts are for goods only; people must not ride in the cabin.

Choosing the right system

  1. Total load

The load the motor lifts is the heaviest payload plus the cabin weight.

  2. Shaft or tower

If the building has no lift shaft, the system runs on a steel tower built inside or outside the building.

  3. Height and number of stops

Total lifting height sets the rope length on the drum; the number of stops sets the control and levelling needs.

  4. Safety

An electromagnetic brake, upper and lower limit switches, an emergency stop and overload protection should be standard.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a freight lift system and its motor?

The motor is the drive unit; the system is the complete lift delivered in working order, including the cabin, rails, supporting structure and controls together with the motor.

Can an existing freight lift be renewed?

Yes. If the cabin, rails and structure are suitable, only the motor and controls are renewed; otherwise the system is rebuilt.

What is needed for a freight lift quotation?

The payload, cabin dimensions, total height, number of stops, whether there is a shaft and the site location.
