Crane Runway Manufacturing and Steel Structure
When a new crane is to be integrated into your existing factory building, or in facilities built from scratch, the supporting systems must be engineered to suit the tonnage and duty class (dynamic loads) of the crane.
- Static Calculation and Engineering: Our engineers calculate the required NPI, NPU or custom-made steel profile sections according to the column structure of your factory and the force the crane will apply at maximum load, including the swing during lifting, stopping and starting.
- Bracket and Beam Manufacturing: The brackets to be welded or bolted to the columns, and the runway beams on them, are manufactured by our certified welders.
- Rail Selection and Installation: Depending on the wheel diameter, solid square profile rails or special railway-type (S series) rails are selected; expansion gaps are calculated and the rails are fixed to the steel structure with clips (or special welding methods).
Laser Crane Rail Alignment (Skew and Parallelism Adjustment)
Over time, building settlement, earthquakes or heavy working conditions cause axis shifts, skew and loss of parallelism in crane rails. This makes your crane bind as it travels.
