What is a crane trolley hoist?
An electric crane trolley hoist is the lifting trolley that runs on the rails on top of the bridge of double girder overhead cranes and gantry cranes. It moves the load up and down and left and right along the bridge. Beta Crane manufactures and sells crane trolley hoists from 1 to 32 tons.

Crane trolley hoist components
- Rope: fibre-core steel wire rope.
- Hook and block: all hooks are DIN standard.
- Gearbox and motor: usually Yılmaz brand, helical gears with an integrated electromagnetic brake.
- Rope drum: DIN standard, CNC machined, grooved and guided.
- Rope guide: GGG70 cast iron.
- Panel and controls: usually Schneider push-button groups.
