Crane Remote Control Systems
As an alternative to the limited use of wired control systems, a crane remote control offers freedom of movement at distances of up to 100 metres, along with low-cost solutions.
Able to withstand difficult conditions, wireless crane controls are ideal for hoists, overhead cranes, mobile cranes, manlifts and other industrial applications. Installation is very simple and a diagram is included in the box.
Compliant with occupational safety, these systems are designed to be ergonomic and light. 2, 4, 6 and 8 movement options are available to meet all your application needs.
In crane and hoist applications:

Start/stop + 2 buttons + emergency stop. 2 movement crane remote controls give up and down only. They are generally suited to fixed systems that work only up and down, such as freight lifts and load winches.

Start/stop + 4 buttons + emergency stop. 4 movement crane remote controls give up, down, forward and back. They are suited to monorail cranes, that is, systems travelling on a single profile rail.

Start/stop + 6 buttons + emergency stop. 6 movement crane remote controls give up, down, forward, back and bridge forward/back. They are suited to all overhead bridge cranes and gantry cranes.

Start/stop + 8 buttons + emergency stop. 8 movement crane remote controls give up, down, forward, back, bridge forward/back and auxiliary hook up/down. They are suited to installations with two trolleys on the same bridge.
Performance
The controls are equipped with more than 24 programmable functions to suit every kind of application. They can be produced for use with a PLC.
Extra accessories are available for added protection and flexibility, such as a rubber body base, protective covers and a belt attachment. Thanks to rechargeable batteries, there is no need to remove and refit covers.
Safety
The buttons have contacts that comply with standards and are rated for a high number of presses. The controls give precise operation even when wearing gloves. The housings are made of industrial-grade plastic and fibreglass composite materials. As standard, mechanical interlocks prevent two buttons being pressed at the same time, to avoid operator error and for extra safety. Emergency stops are standard.
